Transportation logistics and local development in Sonoran table grape exporting organizations
Abstract
Objective: The objective of this work is to characterize the transport logistics and its importance in the local development in table grapes’ exporters from Hermosillo, Pesqueira, Carbó and Guaymas, Sonora. Methodology: The methodological procedure consisted in the application of a semi-structured interview to thirteen managers of grape exporting organizations chosen for convenience. Results: indicate that logistics is a key process in the operations of exporting organizations. Limitations: This method of choice was due to the limited availability to respond the interview. Conclusions: Transport logistics in particular, is developed according to international logistics suggests with particular connotations, and have forced managers to look for efficiency mechanisms to be able to meet the demands imposed by the market.Keywords:
