Abstract

Objective: This study focuses on identifying and analyzing the links that emerge among the territorial agents in the municipality of Naupan, Puebla. The research seeks to understand how the actions of these actors shape both the local social fabric and the productive structure. The central objective is to examine the interaction between these elements to understand their influence on the definition and direction of territorial development. Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was employed, including the administration of questionnaires to 109 heads of productive family units. This generated a pathway to test items related to organizational scope and collaborative actions of producers using a multivariate statistical technique that supported the design and identification of latent variables. Results: The results indicate the establishment of actions with high recursive capabilities. Although no significant incidence was observed between institutional actions and capacity management, a significant correlation was found in the capacity for endogenous organization, which is derived from the process of link-building among producers. Limitations: The study is limited to identifying qualitative variables that are correlated with other linked (partial) variables. The theoretical framework of territorial analysis was the basis for constructing the structural model, making it a unique model for theoretical-empirical contrast. Conclusions: The identified factors contribute to the development of capabilities and positively influence the processes that shape and empower the territory from a local perspective.
