Abstract

Objective: to explore the determining factors that influence the adoption process of the Amazon Mexico platform by three Mexican small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as its impact on the growth, development and benefits obtained by these companies. Methodology: A qualitative methodology with an exploratory and descriptive scope was used, with the application of semi-structured interviews. Results: The study revealed that the adoption of Amazon's platform by three Mexican SMEs, has several facilitators, which have a significantly positive impact in terms of benefits, growth, and development. Limitations: Individual perceptions and experiences of Mexican SMEs could be subjective and vary widely, which could make it difficult to generalize the results. Conclusions: The adoption of Amazon's platform by three Mexican SMEs has proven to be an effective strategy to boost their growth and development, as well as integrating several benefits.
