Principios de Soberanía Alimentaria en las prácticas de productores locales en el estado de Guerrero
Principles of Food Sovereignty within the local producers’ practices in the state of Guerrero
Resumen
Objetivo: analizar el concepto de Soberanía Alimentaria e identificar los principios fundamentales que la integran según diversos autores, así como su aplicación en diversas prácticas de productores locales de Guerrero desde el lente teórico de la teoría de la práctica. Metodología: se realizó una revisión de documentos que abordan el concepto de Soberanía Alimentaria; posteriormente, se realizó trabajo de campo que incluyó observación participante, estancias cortas, entrevistas semiestructuradas y talleres impartidos en las comunidades. Resultados: la Soberanía Alimentaria es un concepto complejo que engloba principios enfocados en la producción y consumo de alimentos, la organización social y el desarrollo de la economía local. En algunas comunidades de Guerrero, estos principios se ven reflejados en sus prácticas cotidianas. Sin embargo, el estudio reveló dos elementos adicionales inmersos en estas prácticas: la espiritualidad y la resistencia. Limitaciones: la convivencia con los productores locales no fue inmediata; primero fue necesario fortalecer lazos de confianza para establecer una relación más cercana y conocer a fondo su rutina diaria. Conclusiones: la Soberanía Alimentaria, trasciende como concepto teórico y se manifiesta en las comunidades rurales a través de prácticas que incorporan múltiples dimensiones que van más allá de la producción y consumo de alimentos.

Objective: To analyse Food Sovereignty and its fundamental principles according to various authors and their implementation in rural communities in Guerrero through the lens of Practice Theory. Methodology: A comprehensive review of literature that addresses the concept of food sovereignty was conducted, complemented by fieldwork that included participant observation, short-term stays, semi-structured interviews, and workshops in the region. Results: Food Sovereignty is a complex concept that encompasses different principles focused on food production and consumption, organization, and the development of the local economy. In communities in Guerrero, these principles are also reflected in their daily practices. However, two additional elements were identified as embedded in these practices: spirituality and resistance. Limitations: Establishing rapport with local producers was not immediate; cultivating trust was crucial for acquiring deeper insights into their everyday lives. Conclusions: Food Sovereignty transcends as a theoretical concept and is manifested in rural communities through practices that incorporate multiple dimensions extending beyond food production and consumption.
