Abstract

Objective: Analyze the entrepreneurial intentions of higher education students in the Toluca Valley, adopting the Theory of Planned Action (TAP). Methodology: 1) the framework of entrepreneurial intentions was analyzed, 2) the study variables were defined. 3) non-parametric data analysis was carried out. The survey was applied in forms, with students from two higher education universities located in the Toluca Valley; A quantitative and descriptive methodology was applied. Results: The analysis of results indicated the following trends in the entrepreneurial intention of the students: entrepreneurship was encouraged due to the lack of job opportunities or due to self-interest, the limitation they face is access to economic resources, students do not prepare for failure, the skills for entrepreneurship are considered to be ease of speech and adaptation; be empathetic and persevering; The study plan they are studying has subjects related to entrepreneurship; there are trained teachers; Society is in the permanent search for quality of life. Limitations: There was no total number of enrolled students, as well as the time for application. Conclusions: The students showed interest in knowing if they have entrepreneurial capabilities, with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the quality of personal life and their community.
